Buyer Beware!

The Truth About CBD Marketing

We hate to admit it, but there is a lot of confusion and misleading information about CBD. And while there are a lot of good and reputable CBD farmers out there, there are some who we despise being associated with.

Here’s an example….

If you do a web search for “amazon CBD” you will see pages and pages of hemp oils, and other products which claim many of CBD’s benefits, with potency that is all over the map. After reviewing the products and goods, you may be surprised to find out that…

Amazon does not sell CBD.

(Here is the text from the site)

Listings for products containing cannabidiol (CBD) are prohibited, including but not limited to:

Full spectrum hemp oil
Rich hemp oil
Products that have been identified as containing CBD by LegitScript

We have also had sellers look us in the eye and claim their products were organic, yet no mention of the word “organic” was found on the product label at all. We tend to believe the packaging over the salesperson, because if it is in print, then it can carry legal ramifications if it is untrue.

Add the borderline legal nature and lack of regulation for products like Delta 8, and things get much more sketchy.

CBD is currently minimally regulated. Much of everything is based on the honor system, so it’s very important that you trust and know your CBD supplier. Very important.
